Sparkling Gourami

The Sparkling Gourami (also known as the Pygmy Gourami) is an absolute stunning addition to any nano fish tank. The Sparkling Gourami is an extremely peaceful and timid fish. They display colors of gold, red, blue and green. Under the right lighting, they really display some amazing colors. The prefer shaded tanks as they are originally found from rice patties in Cambodia and Thailand.

The Sparkling Gourami will reach a max length of 1.5 inches. They are accustom to shallow water with lots of vegetation. They prefer a planted aquarium with plenty of hiding spots. 

The scientific name for Sparkling Gouramis is Trichopsis pumilus.

We feed our Sparkling Gouramis a mix of frozen daphnia, baby brine and cyclops. We also supplement their diet with a mix of Northfin Veggie and Community.
