Caridina Babaulti ‘Malaya’
Caridina Babaulti is a diverse group of shrimp, but one with very little research. What we do know is that the majority of shrimp within this species come from India, and while they are considered Caridina Shrimp, they are much hardier than a typical Caridina.
The Caridina cf. babaulti ‘Malaya’ shrimp is a unique and adaptable species that catches the attention of aquarists with its natural beauty and fascinating behavior. These shrimp are known for their variable coloration, ranging in different earthy tones with subtle stripes or patterns, making each individual a standout addition to a freshwater aquarium. Their natural habitat includes slow-moving, vegetation-rich streams and rivers in Southeast Asia, which influences their preferences for stable water conditions and a planted environment.
