The Green Cory catfish is one of the most popular Corydoras catfish species. They show their best behavior while shoaling in groups of 2 or more fish. The Green Cory is extremely peaceful making it a great addition to any community tank and even most shrimp tanks. Green Corydoras reach a max size of around 2.5 inches.
Corydoras species prefer a sand substrate as they enjoy scavenging for food. It is also less abrasive to their barbels making sand the best long-term substrate solution for the Corydoras family.
