Shadow Mosura Shrimp
Shadow Mosura shrimp have a black pattern on their head and blue bodies with their genetic line coming from a cross between Blue Bolt and Black King Kong Taiwan Bees. The Blue Bolts provide their blue color which is referred to as a “shadow” gene.
When breeding these shrimp you will get a variety of black head patterns with some black markings possible on their body. The shades of blue on their bodies will vary but can be selectively bred for a deep blue all-over coloration.
The Shadow Mosura is a beautiful variety of Taiwan Bee that can make a great addition to a mixed caridina tank or kept alone and selectively bred.
