Yellow Golden Back Shrimp
Yellow Golden Back Shrimp are a vibrant variety of neocaridina shrimp that stand out with their striking bright yellow color and distinctive golden stripe running down their backs. This unique appearance makes Yellow Golden Back Shrimp a higher-grade version of the Yellow Neocaridina. They thrive in standard neocaridina parameters, especially in tanks with a pH above 7, and they adapt well to any inert substrate.
To ensure your Yellow Golden Back Shrimp are happy and healthy, it’s essential to provide natural cover and surfaces for biofilm growth. Incorporating driftwood, leaves, and cones can create a comfortable environment for your Yellow Golden Back Shrimp, along with some mosses and live plants for added interest. These lively shrimp enjoy munching on shrimp-specific foods, biofilm, and algae, so they’ll always have plenty to snack on while exploring their tank!
